Trained at the world renowned watchmaking school of Tapiola, north from Helsinki, this Finnish passionate for watches for over 30 years soon became Swiss of adoption.

After perfecting his craft at the International Watchmaking School of Neuchâtel where he completed the WOSTEP, a course dedicated to the restoration of complicated, high quality rare watches, he then worked for 10 years for Parmigiani Mesure et Art du Temps before going back to the WOSTEP School of Watchmaking, this time as a teacher, but without ever giving up his craftsman passion, and eventually established his own business as an independent Artist Watchmaker in the village of Môtiers in the beautiful watchmaking region of Val Travers.

In his workshops, Masterpieces are created from A t o Z… Such as the Voutilainen ‘Vingt-8’ wristwatch, which is admired for its elegance and its technicality: a resistant mechanism in a stylish case, two escapement wheels giving a direct impulse to the balance through the impulse roller/jewel offering benefits in terms of longevity and stability in day-to-day use, the balance-wheel bridge is sublimely elegant, offering an unimpeded view of the escapement and balance… An exceptional Timepiece for more than one reason.
